An MVP in one month that won the next contract
An education company needed to show a client a working AI product, fast. I set up a children's chat app powered by ChatGPT from an empty repo — architecture, sign-in, animations, UI kit and a release pipeline — and delivered the MVP in one month. It won the company a new project, and the CI/CD I built cut deploy time in half.
The problem
The company wanted to win an education client with an AI product: a chat app where children can ask anything about the world and learn from the answers, powered by ChatGPT.
The company needed to prove the idea to the client fast, with a working app rather than a prototype, and the deadline was one month.
What I did
- Set up the project from scratch. Chose the architecture and wrote the main configs, so the rest of the team could build features on a stable base from day one.
- Worked on the frontend with a focus on business logic, and planned and implemented features to the deadline.
- Sign-in with Google and Apple.
- Custom animations to make the app feel alive and keep children engaged.
- A UI kit, so new screens could be put together quickly and stay consistent.
- CI/CD with Fastlane and CircleCI, so builds and releases run automatically.
Result
- MVP delivered in 1 month.
- The demo secured a new project for the company.
- The release pipeline cut deploy time by 50%.
